Loretta McKinney, Director of Library Services ...http://www.murrieta.org/services/library/index.asp

The Library will continue with its regular operating hours, including being open on Fridays.

In an ongoing effort to meet the Library's Mission, Vision and Value goals which include being on the forefront of technology, and thereby improve customer service, the City Council approved a request by the library to purchase, and install the
3M Intelligent Return and Sorter System (aka bin sorter).
The Library's conference room area will also be remodeled to accommodate the bin sorter technology (month of Jan. '11).

Specifically, as the library user, you will receive an instant verification of those items you return in the Library's interior book-drop and your requested materials will be on the shelf the day they come in via the delivery. The self-check express computers will also be easier to access.
